Crescent Park in the Bywater Neighborhood

Fall of 2018, Walk The Mississippi River

Great Walk in New Olreans

Crescent Park is not that old but is improving everytime I visit it. It is also going to get larger and touch in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The area was once warehouses and part of the Port of New Orleans. The park has some great variety of plants and some wonderful views of the Mississippi River.

There are lots of plants and pathways which make it a great walk and bike ride along the river. The park is now 1.4 miles long.

There is also a lot of condos and second homes close to the park and the Mississippi River. There is more places to eat and drink outside of the park. The neighborhood is blooming and improving with the additions and improvements in the neighborhood.

Always love your photos of New Orleans, Eric. Having grown up with Central Park in NYC as a "backyard," I'm a fan of green space in cities.

Eric, even though I have been to New Orleans twice, still have never seen the Mississippi River.
