Wondrous Wednesday: Morning Errands

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

This morning our errands took us from one end of the town to the other.  Pictured above is the parking lot of Gelson's, a Southern California regional market chain. We had to return some cat food that Quincy tried to bury, and even the stray cat that visits us turned her nose at.

As you can see the Bradford pears are in bloom giving us a hint of spring coming.  We continued on to the harbor for tonight's dinner.

Someone was having their boat rocked.  We don't know if it was coming or going!

Swordfish has just arrived at the Santa Barbara Fish store! Fresh from the ocean for dinner, and I am making a small ramekin of potatoes au gratin and broccoli to go with it...

Pictured above is a five foot berm, that I had to climb around and take the stairs to the yacht club.  The ocean could not be seen from the parking lot!

Ron and I are constantly appreciating our surroundings every where we go.  There is always something to focus on that keeps us in the moment, in the now, and out of our minds.

Wishing Everyone a Wondrous Wednesday!

I LOVE your pictures, but especially the last one. It's picture perfect and makes me dream of summer. No hints of Spring in Maryland yet.

Hi Ron and Alexandra- much as we are happy where we are, we both miss the weather we had in Delray. And what's with that cat food!!!  That doesn't say much about it if Quincy and a stray turned their nose at it.

Kathy Streib that stray is fed by our neighbor also.  This is a premium brand, after one whiff Quincy wanted not part of it, so we tried to give it to her, and th same reaction.  It really was a beautiful day.  A

Jim Patton I love the harbor and the fish store buys directly from the fisherman.  On Saturday mornings, if you get there early enough, the public can buy direct.  A

Andrea Bedard the berms are built up every year, because we have very high tides, and very low tides.  In the summer the beach is flat.  A

You had me laughing about returning the cat food:) loved the point... ours are all on food that the Vet sells a bit pricier but no one turns their nose up at it instead keep begging for more:)Endre

Hi Alexandra... is there any pickier eater than a cat! But when the strays turn their nose up... you know you need to find something new. It will be at least another six weeks before we see our Bradford Pear trees bloom... unless our temperatures do a major turnaround and stay warm for February.

Hello Alexandra and Ron - feline adventures can include some fascinating finds.  Maybe swordfish might interest Quincy.

There is nothing prettier than a clear day at the beach in your area.  I always loved to see Catalina Island when it was clear.  The Channel Islands are also something to enjoy.

Endre Barath, Jr. All the vet lines have been buried or refused to be eaten! And we have tried them all.   Even the stray one that is starved would not eat it.  Lucky for her, I put something out that she said yes to.  A

Nina Hollander, Broker Miss Kitty White (she is all white except for black tips on her ears) gave us such a pained look!  We found one she liked.  Happily two of our neighbors are also feeding her.  A

Michael Jacobs unlike our other cats, swordfish was of no interest.  He is more of a crustacean eater...LOL A

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® Living here, I learned that Catalina is part of the Channel Islands and I had no idea.   That is Santa Cruz in the distance and that beach is a built up 6 food berm.  Not the easiest stuff to walk on, which is why I went up the the yacht club stairs to take the photo.  A
