Do You Send Birthday Cards to Your Sphere?

This thought has been swirling around in my head for months, so today I took the first step toward accomplishing this goal. I bought a couple dozen birthday cards to send to friends, clients, and sphere.

I also popped by the Post Office to pick up a roll of stamps. Armed with my laptop, I signed into Facebook to check the birthday list. It's easy to find your friends birthdays, then all you have to do is add the address, which you probably already have in your database.

Have you taken time to personally mail cards to your friends and fans? My birthday was last month, and I received lots of well wishes via text messages, phone calls, and Facebook. However, it is especially nice to be remembered with a physical  card. I picked out a variety of cute cards that reflect my personality and that will match up with my friends. And it doesn't matter if I get business from this activity or not; I've reached out to my friends on their special day and that makes ME happy.

Pat I like sending a handwritten card to friends and clients and I do it quite often. Not so much this past year as it's been so darn busy.  And then I'll pick up the phone to say HI, How ya doing! I enjoy receiving them as well, like you!

I do not let peole know when my birthday is. March 27,1948. I let them know when I graduated from LSU in 1971 and got married then....

I'm ok letting people know the month and date of my birthday, but try to keep the year secret. :)

I don't think I've ordered from Note Card Cafe, but will check them out. I know you are good at sending cards to your circle. :)

Hello pat,  I know i should but I do not do that.  It would be a good practice to stay in touch.

Sending cards with personal notes is a great practice.

People love to be remembered. The note is the most important part of the card.

Pat I am ashamed to say I am very bad at sending cards, maybe that is why I admire people who do.

I do try to send cards and mailouts to past customers and clients.  I have found out that they really appreciate this, and it really makes a difference to people when you show them you care about them.
