On January 25, 2022, The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced that the U.S. house price gained 1.1% in November of 2021 from October of 2021, and higher 17.5% from November of 2020 based on home sales values obtained from mortgages sold to or guaranteed by FNMA and Freddie Mac.
Nationwide, among nine census South Atlantic Division was highest with an increase of 1.9%, and West North Central Division was lowest with a gain of 0.5% in November of 2021 from October 0f 2021; while Mountain Division was the highest with jump of 22.8%, and West North Central Division was the lowest with an increase of 13.3% in November of 2021, from November of 2020.
