Beach Walk February 2, 2022

N Padre Island Texas

Some days you just have to do it.  After all, it is in the middle of winter and the sun is shining.  It is not often we really have a winter in South Texas, but it does happen.  This is one of those years it is happening.

N Padre Island TX Brenda J. Andrew Realtor

Our weather has been in the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's.  Sometimes the sun is shining, and other days it is not.  On the days it is shining, you really have to take advantage of it, and that is what I did this morning.

If you live so close to the beach, you just have to do it!  It is a necessity.  There were lots of people enjoying the sunshine today.  The cold front is moving in tomorrow so you have to enjoy it while you can!

N Padre Island TX Brenda J. Andrew Realtor

This poor guy didn't make it from the high tide yesterday and the rough waves.  I am glad I got to get a picture of him, although I wish he would have made it.  We have to value each day because tomorrow is not promised.

Enjoy Your Day, Go to the Beach, a Park, or Somewhere Beautiful if you Get a Chance and Enjoy the Sunshine and all of the Beauty Around You!

Brenda,

I really enjoyed your beach photos, they are so lovely!  We have a habit of taking walks on the beach at low, and recently the tide has been very low.  It has been lots of fun..  Happy Wednesday.  A

Hi Alexandra, I love the beach and always take photos.  Your beach is beautiful also.  I wasn't planning on posting these, but decided to share!  Thanks for stopping by and for your comments.  The tide was really high yesterday - higher than I have seen in a while.  Thankfully it was all down this morning!  Have a great day!

Hello Brenda - thank you for these photos and a glimpse of your life in Corpus Christi.  It's another reminder that Texas is a big state with more diversity than we might quickly assume.  Not only in size but in all sorts of ways.

It has been brutally cold all over the country.  The women's golf tournament in Naples Fl this past weekend had temps in the mid 50's

Good afternoon Michael Jacobs  - Yes, Texas is a Big state with lots of diversity.  This is just one area.  We have a place up close to my parents that we just purchased in the Conroe area.  It is completely different with lots of tall, tall pine trees.  It is beautiful as well.  I am not sure if it is as beautiful as where you live, but they are both fairly peaceful places.  Have a beautiful day!

Hello Brenda - I was not previously aware of Conroe so your comment prompted me to do a quick Internet search and see it is near The Woodlands which I had heard of previously.  Thank you for adding to my limited knowledge of Texas.

Brenda J. Andrew - Sometimes, a walk on a beach can be the medicine for the soul that we didn't even know we needed. I enjoyed my virtual walk with you along the beach. It was very inspiring to me and by the last picture of the dead fish, all I could think of was CARPE DIEM! Regardless of what's going on in our lives, or how the weather is outside, we must make the most of the present time. There are so many people and lives lost that can't. I wish you peace and more inspiring walks on the beach.

Good morning Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - It is so good to hear from you.  How is the weather in your area?  We are in the Conroe/Willis area for the weekend and have freezing temps while I speak.  I knew we were coming here for the weekend and also knew the weather was going to get like this, so I wanted to take advantage of the sunshine and the beach while I could.  I hope you are staying warm and safe!

Good morning Raymond Henson, eXp Realty - I think you enjoy a beauty year round as well.  I am out of town but was up last night around 11 and saw that it was snowing in Corpus Christi last night.  It didn't last long though and turned into rain by midnight.  I wish I could have enjoyed it!  Have a great rest of your day!

Good morning Ed Silva - I know it is cold where you are!  We have heard people venting on a neighborhood website about the weather, we really have nothing to complain about at all.  I told my husband, it is winter.  Corpus Christi got snow last night at 11 but I am sure it was just for the eye to see as it was falling. Have a beautiful day!

Brenda J. Andrew - Anytime you can take advantage of a beach, I say go for it!!! One of the best photos I took of my daughter was on a beach in Maine. The weather was terrible! Grey clouds, stormy big waves with white caps, and she was wearing a big red sweater. As a teenager, it was perfect! Plus her long hair was blowing because of the wind. I caught just the right shot and the rest became a great memory forever in photograph! Plus we had a terrific day and that photo solidified it!

I have driven to Conroe once. It's a long drive from here! The weather was rough yesterday but better today. However, I couldn't get out of my subdivision. The roads were so icy and my tires took control; therefore, I was thankful I was able to drive back home without getting out of the subdivision. I'm hoping the sun melts it all so that tomorrow I can get out. As for you, you did the right thing going over to the beach. As always, it's always great to hear from you!
