Sasser Construction – Building Boom Continues in 2022
There were many challenges in the homebuilding industry in 2021. Sasser Construction is looking ahead to the future in 2022 and is optimistic about their new home opportunities for their customers. Homebuilders across the country have had to deal with increasing material and labor costs over the past year, plus deal with numerous supply chain delays, COVID restrictions along with extra precautionary measures, and the increased demand by consumers for new homes. “We appreciate all of the support that we’ve had in the past year from our homeowners and our trade partners in the industry, and we’re excited about the new 2022 floor plans we’re currently building in our new home communities”, says Eric Sasser, President of Sasser Construction.
“We’re very fortunate to have had patient customers over the past year and a half. We’ve tried very hard to deliver a high-quality custom home and excellent customer service for our customers, as 2021 was the most difficult year we’ve ever had in homebuilding- or at least as far as dealing with the rapid price fluctuations and shortage of various products and labor shortages. I’m proud of our contractors, laborers, and the entire staff, and how the handled the crisis and how we ended up at the end of the year.”
As we head into new year, Sasser Construction is currently building new homes in five waterfront communities in Hampton Roads (three neighborhoods in Suffolk, one in Isle of Wight County, and one in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake). The new homes range in price from the mid-$400’s to over $1.3 million and consists of a wide variety of home styles and many different floor plans. From Coastal Cottage style homes to the classic Modern Farmhouse style, you’ll find new homes offering main floor living, multi-generational suites, outdoor living opportunities, and the latest in new home trends and technology.
