Time Proven Attention Graber

From rummage sales to open houses (and Art Galleries) balloons have caught the attention of young and old alike for as long as they have existed. Why is that?

From little funny shaped balloon animals to huge balloons that carry men and women across the sky balloons seem to fascinate everyone who sees them.

There is no deep meaning to this post but I wanted to tell you that I'd grown a little lazy over the last month (probably due to the health matter I've mentioned) and I have been failing to add balloons to the Art Gallery sign pictured above until today. Has it mattered? I have to say YES it has as traffic did increase today since I added them today.

Here is a thought: Maybe if you hand out balloons that advertise your business at your next open house the kids that get dragged along will be happier. The parents might also be happier just because their kids are happy. Just a thought.

Bob,

We were just at our Albertson's  to pick up some tangerines.  In the flower section they have all kinds of balloons!  They had strung a bunch of them into a heart...That does attract attention.  A

I like that "balloons are floating smiles" Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - Wanda Can! 😊. I have spinal stenosis and am doing PT but hoping to get a shot or operation soon. It's been very painful. Thank you for the positive thoughts.

Hello Bob - attention-grabbing works in all sorts of ways.  I'd say balloons are a good choice.  All things considered.

Their popularity never seem to fade Brian England and they don't have to be birthday or event related for kids to want one or to get an adult's attention.

Attention getting isn't always good Michael Jacobs but I've never known anyone offended by a balloon before.

Good morning, Bob... I've never been big on balloons, even as a child. But I totally understand why they are attention grabbers.

Nina Hollander, Broker I have to admit that I don't even remember balloons as a child, I think they were much more rare back then. I have to admit I love receiving balloons with special messages on them.

That's true Will Hamm . I do remember at least one open house with a screaming brat that totally ruined the showing. I wish I had a balloon for the kid then or a Valium for me 🙄.
