They say it is always sunny in Philadelphia well that may be true as our dispositions are but lately seeing the soaring prices on everything it does, put a cloud on things Today, however the sun is shinning and the temperature will be above average to a warm 60 degrees . For Philly in the winter that is almost tropical. You can hear the birds singing and for a while, you forget inflation is up 7.5% and at a 40 year high. Maybe you didn't notice that bacon costs $1.38 more and if you love steak it went up 20% as well as eggs . Gas prices are up 49.6% from last year . I heard tell that some people could care less, but most of the people I know do care . The average person is paying $275 more a month. I know my bills have doubled
Today I am having lunch with my sister in law and I am very excited. We have just rekindled our relationship and we adore each other and have so much fun together.She was like a little sister to me and now she is all grown up with a grown up daughter. We are going to my favorite local eatery The Three Monkey's .
I think Shoprite our local food store must be reading my blog as they now have Texas Toast that last week was $3.99 and this week is selling for $.99 what a deal they also have gelato talanti brand $2.88 a steal certain varieties / Acme 2 for $5
Most stores have beautiful flowers and some with Teddy Bears. I happen to LOVE Bears so soft, cuddly and warm and lets not forget a box of chocolate as a Valentines Day Gift . I saw my dear friend Angela she was making a display of flowers it smelled lovely and we hugged.
Now if you missed the I LOVE Dooney the sale is still on. Unfortunately, I would think you would need to pay expedited shipping or show a picture also the prices are higher than last week - This is for Valentines Day but these prices will go up

The best Valentines gift a wonderful dinner out to support your local restaurants. Anyway, who doesn't like to dine out. It has been a long time since I have had a wonderful dinner at my favorite restaurant. It is time we start to dine out again. So if you have not purchased a gift taking a loved one out to eat I am sure will be greatly appreciated and loved.
All the big department stores have sales on perfumes spend more and get a free gift this goes for men and women If you have waited until the last minute for a Valentines gift try walking into a department store to the perfume counter and I am sure you will find a something sensuous. I do not know about a steal but you may get a deal with a gift set .
Sorry, this is a short one this week! One last thing. I read that there will be a shortage of coffee cups for take out coffee and if they find the cup; lids may be a problem.
