Having survived Real Estate for quite some time, The Crash of 2008 and Short Sales , I feel the experience has left me comfortably numb in some respects. Claude Cross has made mistakes but has escaped the errors of the 20%
I am the sole person responsible for this post. And I borrow a quip from my Favorite Jeff Foxworthy.
In my humble opinion :
80% of agents are awesome. The remaining 20% are in need of serious help.
If your real estate agent agent tells you that your Parents should be deeply involved in your purchase....Here's your sign....
If your real estate agent agent tells you that a zig-zag crack in the brick wall on the left side of your house is just a natural settling and not a concern.... Here's your sign.
If the HOA in the neighborhood you are wishing to purchase has only levied fines on 20% of its occupants...in the last 12 months....and your agent tells you that is normal...Here's your sign.
If most of the cars in the neighborhood your real estate agent is showing you ... are in the front yard...and are over 20 years old and when the real estate agent says they are proud of their cars here...here's your sign.
If the home inspection report returns a well water report of unsatisfactory. and the real estate agent says:.... those people have been drinking out of that well for a long time... seriously it is not a problem.... Here's your sign
If the inspection report lists active termite damage and the agent says ..not to worry .... the owners are aware they went to Home Depot and got Bug Killer...it will be ok......Here's your sign
For the rest of all you great agents, I wish you knowledge and courage to stop this. and know that it is real.. and stupidity must be stopped in our lifetime as real estate agents before it kills our business
