Great Source For Historic Aerial Photos Of Ann Arbor

It turns out that our own Ann Arbor District Library has a great collection of historic aerial photos showing many Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti neighborhoods from the last 65 years or so.

This one is looking South along Hatcher Crescent on the West side. Miller cuts across the top of the photo and the new Haisley elementary school is visible on the top left.

I walked down Hatcher Crescent to Forsythe Junior High School about 10 years after this photo was taken, then lived on Hatcher Crescent for 5 years when I was an electrical engineer.

There are lots of other interesting photos of mid-century neighborhoods. Here is a link to get you started: https://aadl.org/taxonomy/term/107399
