Wondering what it's like in one of the best communities in Northern Virginia? Worry no more! We'll talk about Ashburn today, and the top 5 reasons why you should move here!

1. Facts and Job Opportunities

Money magazine in 2021 ranked Ashburn as the top five place in the country to live. Apart from that, Ashburn is considered the American's Bull's Eye for Internet. 70% of world's Internet goes through Ashburn, Virginia. A lot of job opportunities are open for IT, cybersecurity, Data Analysis, and so much more in this area.

2. Location

Ashburn is located about an hour outside of Washington, DC., about 10 miles to the Washington Dulles Airport, and about 10 to 15 minutes to beautiful wineries and breweries.

3. Traffic Accommodation

I knew the DC Metro area is ranked in the top ten most congested roads in the country when it comes to traffic in the area. But thanks to major roads like the Dulles Greenway Toll Road and the much esteemed Silver Light Metro station in Ashburn, Virginia, we may get some relief if you do have to commute to DC or Maryland.

Also, apart from that, Loudoun transit bus service has phenomenal options where you can connect to the major airports, or you can go to the metro stop on the bus service. So traffic is an issue, then you may want to reconsider Ashburn as the location for your work life balance.

4. Real Estate

If you want a condo, you want luxury homes, or if you want mid sized homes, Ashburn has everything to offer. A condo can range from anywhere between $300,000 in Ashburn Farm or Ashburn Village to all the way up to $600,000 - $700,000 in Brambleton or Broadlands areas. For our townhome owners, you are looking for anywhere between  $450,000 all the way $800,000 for a luxury townhome with an elevator choice. And then the single family homes also range from $600,000 to all the way $2M+.

Apart from that, Ashburn also offers a few different active adult communities. We got Regency, We got Potomac Green and Brambleton. The residents of Brambleton have an option for a 55 plus community. So there are a lot of real estate choices and options that are available within Ashburn, Virginia.

5. Lifestyle Balance

If you have a passion or an activity, there is an option for you. We got from nightlife. We got Parallel Wine. We got One Loudoun, Loudoun Station, bars and recreation areas. So there are a lot of different choices available in Ashburn.

Apart from that, my favorite is the One Loudoun farmers market. I've done videos about it. I absolutely look forward to it every Saturday morning. It's a year round farmers market in the

area. For our kids and young ones, we do have a lot of music activities. You can also watch out for sports activities such as soccer, lacrosse, and indoor ice skating.

Apart from that, iNOVA opened up their children's specialty hospital within the Ashburn area, so that's another great convenience for our Ashburn location.
