To bravely go where no man has ... well... sure they have.

Oh, c'mon!  I mean personal comfort at the workplace is one thing, but this is something entirely different.

According to Julie Hambleton, a freelance writer, there is now a trend in American companies to offer their employees unique relaxation techniques on the job with Virtual Reality Wankpods, equipped with video, adult media, lubrication tissues.

The companies want their employees to be as relaxed as possible and truly enjoy their workday.  These Wankpods offer a 30-minute break for an endorphin filled experience, and that happy chemical brain-rush to return to work in a better mood. Users can opt to use an Occulus quest VR headset, and/or a 4K flatscreen TV, as well as magazines, and soothing music.

It's a way to "work off" the days stress.  And apparently this is not the first attempt to offer this service in the workplace.  Erica Lust, CEO of an adult-industry related business, started offering her employees a "masturbation station" during the pandemic because she noticed that her workers were agitated, and found this a way to soothe their daytime worries.

A bit too much?  Yeah... me, too!

Alan May oh good grief, Alan! Maybe one might argue I'm from another generation, which I am, but it's really time for people to just toughen up a bit!

I imagine if you made use of the facilities regularly, you'd get pretty tough. ;-)

Well if that just doesn't beat all!  Does Julie work for The Onion?  Because I have significant difficulty imagining this being implemented at any company I've ever worked with or for.

Only once have I used a virtual reality headset to play a game at the theater and that was certainly a trip.  Julie's suggestions do seem a bit too much, haha.

Alan- this reminds me of the futuristic shows we used to see with robots all around and people walking around like zombies. And here I thought I had it pretty good at one company I worked for when we brought in mimosas on Fridays when we had a good week. We got cheated!!!
