A Signature That Says It All!
After realizing that my ActiveRain signature was in need of some serious help, I contacted tech-extraordinaire, Craig Daniels to improve and update to make it more interesting. As you can see the old one was very basic.
The Hire an Experienced Professional sign that I designed worked well or so I thought until Craig suggested adding some social media icons to dress it up along with the video introducing people to Southern Utah.
Most consumers appreciate the ease of a simple click to navigate and discover more about real estate professionals in their selling areas. Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter are the more prominent ones.
We consulted and then I sent Craig all social media site information, pictures and video, he began to make the transformation. After a few back-and-forth messages with several adjustments, it finally came alive!
Am very thankful to Craig for his patience, expertise and willingness to help with my signature, it has made a huge difference.
Web Goal #1:
Remaining in front of clients and future business has been a goal of mine from the start. Coming from a smaller selling area, it is important to be seen sooner than the other 2,000+ professionals vying for consumer attention.
Unlike the southern saying, "It is better to be seen and not heard.", in our industry we must do both plus maintain a reputable online presence, quickly grab the attention of buyers and sellers looking to make a move.
I offer a free property search on the web site for those not quite ready to purchase. It is simple, non-intrusive and allows people to peruse Washington County, Utah listings at their leisure. Most people are unaware of that feature, so I'd like to get that message out more clearly.
Might need your help again Craig! LOL
Going to the national real estate related sites comes with a catch and before they know it, several agents are calling, emailing and trying to entice the consumer into signing a Buyer Broker Agreement, some feel obligated.
Web Goal #2:
Revamp and add newer names to my monthly email newsletter and soft touch ads. The database of past clients continues to grow, even as others move on to other areas. They will still refer me to family members and friends moving into the St. George, Utah area due to the established relationship.
The old adage, "If you build it right, they will come." is a forethought when thinking of getting attention. Most tried and true methods still work but being attuned to new trends that are effective can bring new business.
Though I no longer pound the sidewalks, knocking on homeowner's doors to get business, letting my Sphere of Influence know that I am still here well after the sale if they have questions, matters greatly.
Being observed by putting myself in front of buyers and sellers and other referral opportunities means business now and further down the road. If not visible or seen in a good light, I will be overlooked, guaranteed!
A big thanks to Craig Daniels and Eileen Burns for hosting this month's ActiveRain challenge: Refresh Your Blog Signature - March 2022 Challenge.
