Time for a Refresher - A Signature Refresher
Just when you think you’re all caught up, just in time for spring market, someone reels you right back in to tweak something! I remember saying a dozen years ago that I never thought I would be building a website, learning code and worrying about creating pages and posts for the world to see - much less, keep up with it all.
This time, we had a fantastic ZOOM call with our own Craig Daniels who shared a fabulous new signature he had created for Kat Palmiotti - it was gorgeous (still is, of course)! He used two blog sites to compare - one had too little information, the other, too much. I’ll let you guess whose site he used to demonstrate too much in a signature!
Back to, “Just when you think you’re all caught up…” Well, over the past 15 years (yes, I joined in 2007 - who knew it had been 15 years?!), we’ve learned more and more about our signatures. We’ve learned how to tag pictures in our signatures, how to ‘organize’ them, what to include, adding brand new social media platforms (like Facebook!), what credentials to add/change, what to add again…then during COVID and tweaking team photos so half of our clientele doesn’t see us in a huddle (as a team) without our masks on! It became the long & winding road instead of a signature!
Well, that should explain all of the STUFF in my previous signature! Here is the ‘before’ signature:
As it happens, Craig created a new signature for me for his presentation. I have made some modifications - a couple of them but, it’s now done! Of course I tweaked it; it’s in my very nature to tweak - I ’tweak’ everything! LOL So, now, while I know my signature should be simple, classy and easy on the eye, it seems bare to me! I KNOW it has all of the information that fellow agents & consumers needs to reach me. I am getting used to it and do love that I don’t have to scroll & scroll & scroll some more to get past my signature any longer!
Here is my new one:
And, I apologize to anyone who has commented on my posts the last few years, for making you scroll SO much to get past my LONG signature to get to the comments section!
A HUGE thank you to Craig Daniels & Eileen Burns for hosting this month’s challenge! You are truly appreciated!
