Are the gas prices keeping you at home?

You are constantly hearing about the rising gas prices and how it is affecting everyone concerning vacation, etc. I can honestly say that even though the cost of fuel is at a record high, it has not slowed my husband and I down at all! It seems like we are on the go more now than ever!

I'm just curious...how are the gas prices affecting you and your family? Are you cutting out normal day to day activities? Have you cancelled any vacation plans or are you just continuing life as normal?

Angie,

Good question.  I used to have to drive a lot running my old company - over 600 miles per week, so I learned to be very efficient with the routing of my trips and drove an efficient vehicle.  Now, my commute is 4 miles each way and I drive a gas guzzler.  I'm still consciencious of my trip routing, but not as affected by the price of gas since I drive so much less.

Here on Cape Cod, the boaters seem to be putting off their jaunts to go out fishing.  cars are here, but some of the marinas say they aren't seeing as much boating traffic as they have in the past.
