We were pleased and delighted that CODA (Children of Deaf Adults) was selected by the Academy for Best Picture.  

 

"As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) Ruby is the only hearing person in her deaf family. When the family's fishing business is threatened, Ruby finds herself torn between pursuing her passion at Berklee College of Music and her fear of abandoning her parents.   This description is from IMDB!"

We enjoyed every part of the movie and teared up several times during the movie.  As Ruby, the main character, in the movie, sang Joni Mitchell's classic, Both Sides, Now, she gave it a new meaning...

We highly recommend it.
