A Guide to Social Media Marketing as Presented by Lisa Spampinato
Lisa Spampinato, is the the Founder, and as she describes herself, CIC (chick in charge) of WGSD Virtual Assistant Services LLC. It didn't take long on the call to recognize that this CIC knows her stuff and was very obliging with her knowledge. Her intent on the call was to teach us how to get our social media set up and also offer advise as to where and how to post.
As she describes Organic social media, is a long process, more a marathon and not a sprint. To anyone that has been on this platform for a while, it is well understood.
Social Media , when set up properly , will help us to establish ourselves, help us obtain credibility, establish our brand and when all are linked with and through our websites build clients and business.
In setting up the social media sites, it needs to be a site where a reader sees value and quality, and originality that shows our character.
Post should be memorable and keep a reader engaged. It is details, real estate listings, and also show the real side with the photos, recipes stories that will allow them to relate.
In trying to establish the brand, connecting with businesses and services show your knowledge but also demonstrate the resource you can be to help them with their real estate needs.
There are a large number of sites where we can interact with social media but she offered that the 3 key sites would be:
Google My Business
Facebook
Instagram
These are well familiar to all that have taken time to attend the Zoom calls as they are references sites that have been mentioned before. In addition, she offered that an up and comer for attention with brevity is TikTok, as it will be the next generation of buyers coming into the market. LinkedIn is corporate and serves to allow connections as well as connections to professionals
Tools to help us better promote ourselves and information, All the toos she offered were professional in quality and better, free.
As the call was limited in time, she would be a source that all would want to follow as she will be doing in-depth blogs on the information she discussed.
Emoji's gather attention and will draw attention from people just because of the levity they offer.
Google calendar is for content planning and will be an easy guide to what to post when.
Grammarly will help with grammar, spelling and format as well to allow the postings to be consistent and proper.
Google Keyword Search is known to all that blog regularly.

Chatbots will allow for client contact even when business with another client.
There are sequences to get best exposure for postings on the social media sites and it also demonstrates more professionals to try to be consistent with the when and which of the postings.
Lisa cautioned on building our profiles without the brand name as dominant and more of just a logo so as to allow for moving agencies or brands and not losing the work as it was so strongly branded.
When setting up our social media sites, information is important and the more detailed with relevant information the better it will be received by potential clients.
The more information the more real we become and the better it will be received.
The gasps were heard when she offered that hashtags are important when the bots start looking for quality information.
Hashtags are to social media what keywords are to SEO.
As an example she offered posting to Instagram and using a # to define yourself for the time being.
Timing and frequency of posting on the social media sites is also important.
Each site catches a different audience and timing for upload are important and especially when posting videos to YouTube as it takes time to process videos.
She was very informative and demonstrated great knowledge and as she offered she will be posting blogs for almost all that she discussed n far more detail.
