So Easter is just around the corner and holidays always make me a bit nostalgic. Watching children with the Easter egg hunts brings me back to the inventive hunts I used to do for my kids, and even going back to my own.
One of the things that was a clear memory of my 10 year old self and beyond was, we always got a new spring outfit for Easter. A pretty dress, maybe a hat, maybe a skirt set.
Maybe that's why I feel that echoing tug to Amazon now - hah!
But my mother always felt, and still does, that Easter signifies new beginnings, change, hope -- looking forward.
I thought that was a good mantra for my personal life and real estate career right now.
Forget (or put away) 2020 and 2021 and focus on what's ahead.
I want more get-togethers with my client friends.
I want to do more for the community.
I want to keep joy in my daily life and remember to take care of my own health to stay in good shape. One of my friends recommended chair yoga or even online meditation. (Doesn't a part of you always wonder if they are thinking, DO THIS NOW. I tend to pay attention when my inner circle "suggests". :)
What new things are you incorporating this spring in your life and career? Do you have favorite Easter memories?
One of mine is tying a string to the end of the Easter basket and then running it all over the house, with the starting point by my kids bedroom door handle. Of course, they got old enough to just look for the end of the string heading into a cupboard or closet and circumvented the trail...figures.
Happy Spring, Happy Easter to you.
