While waiting for The Dollar Tree to open we noticed this little robin sitting on the parking lot looking as to say "what am I to do? We have seen many spring/summer birds over the past month and they have been building nests to start thier families. BAM! 32" of snow in a record setting spring storm and now we are being told to expect 5" to 8" of snow on Easter Sunday (tomorrow). Like the little robin, many of us are saying "What am I to do?".
I can imagine there is a little confusion going on in the minds of wildlife. We had a ton of rain in November, then everything stayed dried for many many days. The rains are back now, but usually in Sacramento, rain is winding down in April.

We were really wondering what the little fellow was doing for a meal Myrl Jeffcoat . Obviously6 there are no insects and worms don't pop out of the ground with 36" of snow on top of it PLUS we woke up to 9 degrees today. As soon as we got hope I refilled our bird feeder.
We have had our share of snow this year for sure! I hope the little Robin found some food and hunkered down! Good idea to keep your bird feeders full!

Debra Leisek as soon as we got home from The Dollar Tree I re-loaded the bird feeder. I just looked out the window and two robins and a sparrow were all enjoying a meal.

No hunkering down this morning Carol Williams as I wouldn't miss our Easter Service for anything short of being in traction from abusing my back this week. It did take me twice the usual pain meds and Icy-Hot ointment graciously applied to my back by my bride for my feet to hit the floor.
BTW I really appreciate the graphics you and Nina Hollander, Broker provided today.
