And...Another One's Gone...Another One's Sold...Another One Bites the Dust!!
No one...and I mean no one...thought I could sell this raw pasture for $7500/acre which was the listing price. (even me) 
But I told the owner I thought we could get $7,000 an acre if we were patient and marketed it to the right crowd. And it would need to be a cash buyer!!
Many folks laughed at me and told me I was nuts...nothing new there...and scoffed at what I was trying to accomplish. Those folks that own smaller parcels were hoping I was successful and almost all buyers were hoping I was way to high.
Even a good friend who lives a mile down the road thoughts I was out of my mind!!
As we rolled through the winter months, the Sellers were patient and we landed somewhere between laughing and being annoyed at the $3,500 an acre offer we received in December.
Spring/summer is the selling season here for smaller parcels.
And there is are many reasons why I am still in the game after 29 years and 5.5 months of selling real estate. The challenges are fun...the rewards are high...and I get to meet new clients who become friends as well as future business!!
