1. What was your first job and what did you learn from it? My first job was at McDonald's but I only worked there for one day because Jack in the Box offered me 10 cents more per hour, haha. So, I kind of think of Jack in the Box as my first job.
2. How long have you been in the real estate or related service industry? I got my real estate license in 2010 but before that, I was doing some light property management so if we count that as time served, I would say that I have been in the real estate industry for 18+ years.
3. What is your biggest fear and what have you done to try to conquer it? Hmm, I haven't really been much of a fearful man. Every day seems to provide a fear that we need to overcome whether it be big or small. I can't really think of anything specific.
4. What would you do if you knew you would not fail? Invest all of my money into a stock that I knew would skyrocket and allow me to retire tomorrow or a week from now, haha.
5. What is a habit you would love to eliminate or change? Hmm, there are a lot of things that go on in my head or that I do from time to time that I wish I didn't but I wouldn't consider any of them habits. I believe that my habits are good for the most part.
6. What is your favorite meal (forget about calories or what you shouldn’t eat) I am definitely a meat and potatoes guy!
7. What is something you wish you’d done? Hmm, I guess there are a lot of things I wished that I had of done differently but then again, all of those things got me to where I am today and I am pretty happy with where I am at today. If things went differently, perhaps I wouldn't be where I am today, haha.
8. Who has been most influential in your life? I would say that my Mom has been the most influential person in my life.
9. What are your favorite business-related books? Umm, I don't read books, haha. Business books certainly put me to sleep a lot quicker than a regular book.
10. Other than business books what are your favorite things to read? I don't read much at all unless I need to find out the answer to something. I really enjoyed reading a book that a friend of mine wrote called "Falling", which also spent some time on the New York Times Best Seller's list for many weeks after it's release.
11. What are your top 5 favorite movies? Tombstone, I am Gabriel, Pulp Fiction, Coming to America, and Dazed & Confused.
12. If I came to visit your city for one day what is the one thing I must do or see? If you came to my city for just one day, it would be essential that you meet me, haha. If Wayne Martin is visiting, I know that we would have adult libations together!
13. If I came to your city to visit for one day what is the one restaurant you would recommend? If you came to my city, you would need to meet me and we could have lunch together or get-together for happy hour and depending on what type of food you were in the mood for, I could suggest the perfect place for us to meet.
14. If I was going to relocate to your area what advice would you give me that is unique to the area? Duh, hire me as your agent, sit back and make all the decisions and let me do the work for you.
15. Do you have any special talents? I have so many talents it would take too long to list them all, haha. Also, I would much rather remain humble than to brag about all of the talents that God has blessed me with.
16 Do you have any quirks? Yes, I am sure that I have many quirks in addition to those I can think of off the top of my head. It also depends on what somewhat else might consider to be a quirk, haha.
17. What is your best character trait? My smile tells it all, I aspire to always be honest, trustworthy, and caring among other things.
18. Have you ever done anything you would never do again because it was too hard or too dangerous? Hmm, there was a roller coaster in San Antonio called the Steel Eel that my brother and I rode. I was terrified but it appeared he was even more terrified. After the ride I kept trying to coax him to go on it again with me but he didn't want to and I was glad because I didn't want to, haha. Towards the end of the day he worked up the courage to go on it again and brought it up so I had to confess that I didn't really want to go on it again, I was terrified, haha.
19. What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time? Relax, get to a state where I am bored, haha. I also like to watch movies, sports, and travel as much as I can.
20. If you could live anywhere in the world where would you want to live? I love where I live now and don't see myself ever moving. I have not stayed anywhere else where I though, I wish I could live here. Maybe that will happen one day as I get to visit more places across the USA.
21. What is something that we don’t know about you that would surprise us? This is a tough one since I am very transparent here in the Rain so most that follow me know pretty much everything about me. The one I usually go with on two truths and a lie is that I was born in England. Most people think that is the lie since my last name is also England.
I specialize in the East Valley of the Phoenix Metro area - Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Apache Junction, and Gold Canyon
