Write an Offer and Let's Find Out!
Agents come through the door of a luxury property during the local Board Tour Event, a few disclose they may have a buyer. During the conversation with the listing agent, they may ask about:
- sellers motivation
- several possible scenarios
- the many upgrades and features
When it comes to inquiring what price the sellers would consider. In the past, I have said, "A full price offer." In this market, it's best to answer, “Get an offer written and let's find out.” The key word is written.
Once a signed offer is placed in front of sellers, with clear terms and conditions, they may choose to accept, counter offer or reject. Some agents fish for information that tends to go nowhere but others are serious.
So, for those in particular, write the offer and let's find out together!
