Yucaipa, along with the rest of Southern California and the United States, has seen home prices skyrocket since the pandemic first hit. The numbers below are a quick snapshot of Yucaipa's housing market for the months of February, March and April of 2022. We've detailed a few glaring numbers and highlights:
Yucaipa, California's Median Sale Price is $580,000 as of the posting of this article. Its also interesting that March saw 79 new listings, but April only saw 58 new listings. Springtime is typically heavy with new listings, but obviously this year we are continuing the trend of low inventory.
The Months Supply number ranges from 1.1 to 1.2 months, and Months Supply reflects the number of months it takes a 'typical' real estate market to exhaust. A 'typical' market is generally accepted at a six month supply. And the month count reflected is how many months it would take to sell the existing inventory, so if the number is 2.5 for example, it would take 2 and a half months to sell off, or exhaust the current supply. The Price Per Square Foot also reflects a median number, not an average number.
Days On The Market are median numbers and reflect how many days a home takes from the initial publishing of the listing, to the day it enters escrow.
