In Philadelphia, it was difficult to find deals this week, but thanks to friends I managed to find some.
My friend Jessie told me about Zips the cleaners in the area that will wash comforters for $25 and put them in plastic and her's came out so fluffy and new so off I went. I spoke with the owner as another friend insisted they were going to dry clean it. He assured me they washed it and smiled, telling me to come back next Thursday. He also told me most of the labels say do not dry clean. I am thrilled to have found this service. It is that time of year to change your comforter Steal of a Deal
Total Liquidators was a store we came upon when looking for outdoor chairs we had breakfast at the Golden Eagle diner in Bristol after that we stopped by they had some great deals on air fryers and so many other things but I did find the perfect folding chair for $25 sorry I did not buy two. The one thing I must mention all sales are final everything is as-is no returns. So as I always say know your prices.
In the same shopping center was Ollies Bargain outlet They had Dunkin Donuts Coffee medium roast flavored pods at a great price, but I am stocked up on coffee for now if they had had light roast I would have grabbed it looking back I think I should have. Who knows where prices are going and I could have made iced coffee this summer. Lots of great deals there also join online and receive coupons
This one is for Grant Schneider ILove Dooney 65% off totes with code tote but I do believe now do not hold me to it because if you need a tote that is a great deal. I think Memorial Day will be a big sale
Wacoal is having their sale ladies if you are interested I will put the website sign up and get 10% off
The last Steal of a Deal went to Second ave thrift store the second-hand store singing the song "Second Hand Rose" I dropped off some bags of clothes and shoes and decided to stop in. I was shocked as I found some tops by one of my favorite designers with the tags on them in my size. There was a man next to me going through the racks also. He looked at me and said these are not for me it is for my daughter. I laughed and said I thought you were looking for your wife. He replied I am so self-conscious thinking people think they are for me. I think you are very thoughtful. What do you care? Let them think you do not know them. He laughed and thanked me
I have been reading about Stagflation vs. Inflation and where the economy is heading with the high prices. Right now I am just happy summer is almost here. The pool is open on weekends next week and I will be getting a healthy dose of vitamin C. We will read more about this in the weeks to come.
The heat really got to me this week not just in temperature, but also in temper. Especially when someone talks to you like you are excusing the expression, stupid when you ask a simple question. This person had me so flustered that after I hung up I still did not have an answer to my simple question and I was really exasperated that I was spoken to in that manner. It was a Real Estate question and if she talked to me this way, how does she speak with people that do not understand Real Estate. For goodness sake, if you are dealing with the public be kind when speaking to them. When I learned Real Estate I was told to keep a mirror on my desk to be sure I had a smile on my face as people can hear you smile and believe me they can.
