Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness!

Happy Sunday,Paul- this is so true. It can be hard to forgive but we owe it to ourselves to do so- not so much for the transgressor but for our own peace of mind

Good morning Paul. Forgiveness is easy to think about but more difficult to bring about. Enjoy your day.

That's quite true, Paul. But I'm still of the school of thought that I might forgive, but I don't forget.

Forgiveness seems easy for me, but it is the forgetting part that is tough for me, haha.

Forgetfulness can really help at times.  I think that is one thing that has helped out marriage.  I only remember the good things.

I will second that, Paul.  It took me a long time to learn, but to forgive does lighten the heart.

Paul, this is an especially good one.  To be honest, I have a tough time with forgiveness.  As the years go by it becomes easier.  Mark

Hi Paul,
This is an interesting one. They say forgiveness is more for ourselves than the one who wronged us. I honestly don't know if I forgive as much as I just let go of certain wrongs that have been done to me. I sometimes think forgiveness sets us up for allowing another disappointment. Letting go lets me move on.

Hi Paul to forgive is a gift to oneself more than whoever we thought hurt us. Holding on to hurt and anger is not good for anyone.

Good afternoon Paul,

Ahhhh.... this quote is so true. Its not easy but totally necessary if you are ever going to have peace. Then and only then can you move on!
