Mark, we can definitely make ourselves busy, and still not accomplish much.  Try not to do that.....

Happy Monday Mark and this is so true for some people.  I always say plan your work and work your plan.

My thought: Focus on the essential things first.  Define the "urgent" tasks and focus on those that matter to you the most.  Just because someone else claims something as urgent doesn't mean that it's important to you.  Prioritize and schedule those "urgent" matters that are important to you, and tackle each one in order of your priority. 

Mark I can easily find lots of busy work, that is a waste of time.

I believe that some people confuse spinning your wheels with productivity Mark 😀

Hi Mark- I love the anchor analogy. And I agree, there are often times when we find all sorts of tasks that make us feel as if we're getting a lot done but we are skipping over what really needs to be done. 

I think we sometimes confront cycles where what we are doing, doesn't seem to produce results.  And, then the sky opens, and all our past efforts begin to take shape and provide dividends.  It is important however, to identify those efforts that will provide no beneficial outcome.

Mark I have been so busy lately without results:)))))))))))) Seriously this is such a powerful message many miss the mark , Endre
