I don't know why, but that quote make me curious about the author.  I hadn't heard of him before.  Turns out Philip Stanhope, the 4th Earl of Chesterfield, was born in 1693 and died in 1773.

Hello Paul - time is our constant companion.  It can be wise to be on good terms with it with respect and the right attitude.  We are definitely "in this" together.

My parents said that last line often - never put off till tomorrow what you can do today. Good advice!

I never realized how many parents used that. I didn’t connect it to the word procrastination Kat Palmiotti

Good morning again, Paul... on the whole, I agree with this sentiment. Then again, from time to time a bit of laziness and idleness can be refreshing.

Hi Paul- the older I get the more I understand how true this quote is. I do feel lazy at times and idle but while I am in that state, my mind is still going!
