BALLANTYNE'S FIRST BREWERY IS OPENING IN SUMMER 2023

Charlotte's Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB), a Queen City favorite since 2009 has announced plans to open its second Charlotte location in south Charlotte's Ballantyne area in Summer 2023. Great news for Ballantyne beer lovers who've been travelling to OMB's location on Yancey Road in Charlotte's South End and who will now be able to enjoy their beer at Charlotte's oldest craft brewery closer to home. The Ballantyne OMB Biergarten and restaurant will feature 14,000 square feet of indoor space, a 7,000-square-foot patio dining area + balcony, an event space on the second floor, and a playground at one end of the Biergarten. This will be the largest brewery in south Charlotte. It will anchor the new dining and retail district called "The Bowl at Ballantyne" just east of the Ballantyne Hotel.

The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten has been home to Charlotte's popular Mecktoberfest for years. Hopefully, we'll be seeing Mecktoberfest at the Ballantyne location, as well, once it opens.
