This is a question I am often asked by my clients in real estate. Buying or selling first, how do you choose? This decision will truly depend on your personal situation, but the housing market at the time will be a big indication of how to proceed. In today's episode of our weekly series, I will tell you how I steer my clients to make the right choice for them during this process. Perhaps you are in the same situation? Jean Richer I agree with your conclusion.  In the past I would have advise to sell first, but in this CRAZY Sellers Market my opinion is the safer choice is to purchase first.

Jean Richer very timely question and excellent answer. Buyers and sellers should definitely consult with you before they make a decision. We don't know yet the exact impact of the rising interest rates so there may be a shift in the market. That shift would impact the timing of the buy/sell.

Very good blog.  And a good point.  If a buyer can buy first before selling, it's a huge bonus in negotiating power.

Nice quick video explanation of the buy / sell timing dilemma.     I like that you offer your clients Plan A, Plan B, etc.
