There is Enchantment In Santa Barbara

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

If you are in love with your marketplace it makes it so much easier to sell homes there because  buyer decisions are often based on emotions. Many listing decisions are based on how well you project your love of your marketplace even if you are not crazy about the home you are listing. It is all about enchantment.

Everywhere we turn there is something new to appreciate about living in Santa Barbara. Even our Public Works building is enchanting with its sidewalk paintings.

If you have become jaded about your town, look for as many things as possible to appreciate about it. Then, watch the response of your buyers and sellers.  Soon enchantment will be in the air. It is magical!

Good morning, Alexandra. I whole-heartedly agree. I've loved the two cities in which I've sold real estate (New York and Charlotte) and it does make it much easier to sell in a city you love and appreciate.

I first saw Santa Barbara in 1975 and found it magical then... always said if I had decided to stay in California to live I'd have found a way to move to Santa Barbara.

I am not sure how someone could sell property in an area they did not love. I have a rule...If I would not sell it to a family member, I will not sell it to you.

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel - My husband and I always loved Santa Barbara.  We spent a couple of mini-vacations there. Loved walking the pier and the downtown streets.

One year, I surprised my husband with a trip to Sedona (2000) and he was upset we were not going to Santa Barbara.  Well, the rest is history.  The first night he saw the Milky Way and told me to find a realtor!

I love Early California enchantment, with Spanish influence.  Santa Barbara has its share of it, as does Monterey and a few other locations along the California coast.  It seems especially prevalent near California Missions.

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat You are right about the enchantment in California towns where there are missions. Hope you are staying cool this summer. Cheers! R&A

Ron and Alexandra Seigel - the architectural design is anything but uninspiring! The arched entry, the door, tile work, and even the fonts are quite interesting with lots of attention to details. And that is exactly how work should be!
