It was May of 2010, a dozen years ago, and we were privileged to attend our first Arlington Cemetery Burial. It was for the brother of a very dear friend.
These photos captured a bit of the precision of the flag folding, the solemn dignity of full military honors, the beauty of the American Flag waving, the Washington Monument, the horse-drawn caisson, the 21 gun salute, and the glory and pride felt by so many!
The photos above are from Arlington National Cemetary. I am looking forward to finding more flags for June's ActiveRain Challenge, hosted by our patriotic members Mark Don McInnes and Endre Barath, Jr.
