I've found most buyers want to check out all of the options.  New housing for some is the only way to go.  Remember, it will take time to get it built.  Could be 6 to 9 months out from offer acceptance to move in, maybe longer?  Re sale homes can be a great value for others.  A good home inspection and a small budget for your own custom upgrades and you might find exactly what your looking for.
