On Overbrook Road, the street feels like Norman Rockwell is one of your neighbors. A tight knit community with holiday lights and decorations, weekend hangouts around a fire pit, friendly chats with neighbors as they walk up and down the street daily, and kids out playing together in the afternoon or weekends. Everyone is friendly and will easily give you some time to catch up on the weekly events.  

Some of the things we love about living in Catonsville include the Fourth of July Parade, farmers market on Sunday, Food Truck Thursday, and live music down town. It’s also great being so close to everything while enjoying the quiet that comes with living on Overbrook. Some of our favorite restaurants in the area are Farmhouse Greens, Syriana, Man vs. Pho, and Umami Mediterranean. We also love grabbing dessert at either Opie’s or Tastee Zone down Edmonson road. The Grocery stores we use are Safeway or Sprout though we make the occasional short trip to Columbia for Wegmans or Whole Foods. We moved to Catonsville to be close to everything while feeling like we are in our own little world. We are close to Baltimore, Ellicott City, and Columbia while enjoying a small community feeling on Overbrook Road just down the way from downtown. In Catonsville, we have live music, good schools, an amazing community, and some great shopping downtown in Catonsville or Ellicott City.
