Well day 30 has arrived. My it went by fast. Once again, we have listened to some great music. I hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane.
If you have followed my Soundtrack over the years, it’s no secret that I enjoy duets, you will find several duets here on The Soundtrack.
I think they are even more fun when the two partners are a mix of stars from different generations. It shows us how some songs can be timeless when properly arranged and performed by great artists.
Everyone knows who Tony Bennett is, and what he brought to the music industry for over 80 years. Add an enormous talent like Lady Gaga to the song and you have a recipe for greatness.
Lady Gaga and Tony got together again in October 2021 to record two music videos “I Concentrate on You”, and today's song “I Got You Under My Skin”.
Despite Tony’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, he was able to continue performing in a limited fashion until 2021 at 95 years young. It seems Lady Gaga has developed a way of teaming up with him to keep the music alive.
This may well be your last chance to see Tony perform live.
So, to close out the 2022 session of The Soundtrack of a Lifetime, I bring you I Got You Under My Skin Tony Bennett / Lady Gaga style. Smile.
