What do I need for the home loan approval process? Getting financing

What a great question this is, in fact, any question directed at me, regarding Real Estate and its entire home buying or selling process is great! There are no stupid questions except the ones you don't ask.

So, what documents do you need to get the home loan process underway?

*Two years worth of work history (all your jobs over the past 24 months).

*Residence history of the past 24 months. (Where you've lived)>

*One month worth of paychecks (copies work just fine).

*2 Months of bank statements, checking, savings, 401k, bitcoin, any type of financial account, where you have money growing, they'll want to see.

*Last two years of tax returns and your W2's (or 1099 if self employed).

*Any documents indicating you're paying or receiving child support (If applicable).

*Bankruptcy (if you ever filed, your loan officer will need to see this).

Great, clear-cut list of what's needed to be pre-approved for a loan. Here in AZ, lenders must complete a "Pre-Qualification form" that must be included with a contract.  So being pre-approved is a must.  Same clear-cut process!   Great post!
