You need to pump your septic tank

You need to pump your septic tank.

It's true, You need to pump your septic tank.  I have heard stories through the years about how septic tanks take care of their selves.  The good bacteria eats the bad bacteria...blah blah blah.  There is some truth to this, however, your septic tank still needs to be maintained and taken care of.  Every 5 years is the rule of thumb.  And another thing, don't buy all those fancy concoctions on the market for your septic tank.  You are just throwing your money away.  Also, the three worst things you can put down your commode are baby wipes, facial wipes, and dental floss.  Wow, I did not know this.

Three septic tank issues this month.

I've had my share of septic tank issues.  I'm on a first-name basis with the guys at Hills Septic.  I'm glad I am too.  These guys are great.  I come from a background of hard work, no matter what it is you do.  And no matter what it is you do, do it well.  These guys are Hill's Septic are fabulous.  They have shown up on two different Saturdays and a Friday, right after I made the call to them.  They are courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful.  They explained everything all along the way.  I thought I would be grossed out, but no, it was quite informative. I will say, one of my three septic issues ended up being a field lines issue.  That's a whole nother blog.

Northeast Tennessee

So, if you are living in Northeast Tennessee and need help with your septic tank, I highly recommend Hill's Septic in Elizabethton TN  423-278-0520

These guys are great at what they do.  I recommend them over any company I have come in contact with in the past 20 years.  I have a couple of other properties I have septic on, I'm getting them all pumped.  Remember, no baby wipes, face wipes or dental floss!

Good morning, Cindy... septic tanks are not the norm in my market, but I do sell at least one or two homes each year with a septic system. I'm always amazed how many homeowners have no clue about pumping their systems or when they were last pumped.
