It’s Time for Summer Reruns…That Goes for Your Posts, Too
Today is the first day of summer and while work continues, it’s also the time of year when many of us want to spend time with our families and friends.
Of course, if you’re an agent, there are your listings and market updates to share. However, there are times when our mind says “Enough…I’ve got nothing more to give!”
Now some of the members have the uncanny ability to grind out daily posts without blinking an eye, but that has never been the case for me.
Why not follow what many television series do...go for summer reruns or, opt for a remake...same premise, different examples, or perspective on the subject.
Some suggestions…
-There are always holidays and events that occur every summer. Why not update them and add new ones.
-Take a look at your Blog’s Statistics. You can sort to see posts that received a lot of views or comments and rewrite them. Or, you may find some posts that you thought were interesting topics but did not receive the attention you’d hoped they would.
-Give it today’s perspective
Seller’s market vs Buyer’s market? Nothing stays the same, even our perspectives and opinions
-Update what’s in the post.
Stats change, and neighborhoods change as well. Update your photos to show what is NOW and not what was.
Something to remember…
It’s not enough to copy and paste an older post and call it a day.
And one more thing…
Even though many have read your posts, not everyone has. There are new members here who are just finding their way around the blog posts.
And, even though we may have read it, doesn’t mean we remember it!
Heck…I can’t even remember what I wrote years ago.
So, go out, enjoy the summer sunshine and your favorite hobbies. You can still keep blogging.
