This part got me doing my part.

After work yesterday I got in my car to drive home and as soon as I shifted it was obvious my shifter was no longer connected to the transmission. Bummer.

Due to some other activities I had going on I didn't get a chance to call my auto club, Good Sam, until 6PM. The auto club said they would do their best best to get someone there yet (last night) . A half hour later a tow truck showed up and two polite young men jumped into action and had it loaded on the truck in minutes. These guys knew exactly what was wrong and assured me it was not a major fix.

Off went the Yukon to my favorite mechanic and I knew he would have me back on the road tomorrow (today).

First thing this morning I did "my part" and got on Google to give those young men a good review.

We all love positive reviews. Don't you wish everyone you pleased would tell others about the great service you provided them?

It all starts with you and me. Are you leaving positive reviews on Google for others? Get the Karma going, leave positive reviews for others... you never know, they may leave one for you too.

People are quick to give a negative review when something goes wrong but they forget to give a positive review when things go well.

Bob, so sorry to hear your Yukon had some issues, and hope the fix wasn't too expensive.  Getting review requests is a constant, as you can't even go shopping anymore without getting a request.  It almost is too much.

I was really pleased Ray Henson as the "Good Sam Club" membership is very inexpensive. I took their membership because they cover towing a camper. I had no idea what to expect as this one towing cost less then their membership.

Integrity is harder to find today then in days past for sure Endre Barath, Jr. Everybody I worked with did a GREAT job. That includes the auto club (Good Sam), the towing company (R & J Towing), as well as my mechanic (Magic City Auto).

I am on the road again Michael Jacobs and guzzeling down the gas (regretfully). The good news is our gas price took a dive yesterday down to 4.49 for regular.

It was a bit more then I thought it would be Joan Cox , about $180.00 but I know my mechanic is an honest (God fearing) man and I appreciate how he dropped everything for me to get the job done.

That's great Bob!  I love when young people take it upon themselves to give excellent service and make others lives so much smoother!  Kudos to those 2 guys!!

 

I also love this idea of leaving reviews.  I haven't done a lot of that online but I do it often in other ways - typically in person.  I'll have fun upping my game!

Absolutely Carol Williams . I have posted a few negative reviews but I am happy to say I've posted more positive (I'd say positive is the norm for my service experiences).
