I am in agreement with you. If it is not available in the desired area then an alternate should fit the bill. In this case a ranch is a viable option

I think sometimes homebuyers are so focused on what isn't available, that they miss homes that have so much more than they could have imagined.

Margaret I have those challenges also.  I have a couple of borrowers who want to purchase at an unrealistic price.  They still think they can purchase at 2020 prices.

Buyers seem to do that often, want to look for something that doesn't exist or at least doesn't exist in their price range or area, haha.

If you can't find what you want and you can't build what you want, then you have to change what you want. Great job Margaret!
