I have to admit, I pouted all weekend. Sometimes the World news is just so MUCH. I think about other countries and their beleaguered people. I think about the USA and our split ways right now. I think about inflation. I think about the weather patterns. It's all out there, and technology brings it home to us.
I admire the advocates, the picket sign holders, and folks who stay home and pray. I admire the stance for belief, even if it's different from my own.
In a funny/bizarre parallel, I've admired extreme athletes. The bowler that throws long enough to get that 300, the golfer the hole-in-one. What drive, what motivation, what determination...
I think perhaps that's what I really admire about people, most times. Folks that choose a positive life, find a lane, and keep plugging away.
Let's just remember to stay positive, if we can.
