Wordless Wednesday…Take Your Home With You

Every once in a while when we’re out on our walks, we come across something that we’ve never seen, and makes us stop and take notice. Look what was in the Kickerillo parking lot…

We waited a few minutes hoping the owner would show up but we had to leave. I was dying to see the interior or at least ask some questions about what their inspiration was.

I keep looking in the parking lot every morning when we walk out at Kickerillo just in case this traveling home shows up again!

Good morning, Kathy... what a great catch on your part... and what a fun idea for a "mobile" home, sun panels and all!

I want to see the inside too!  That reminds me of my Mom sewing foam pads to custom fit the back of their truck with a camper shell on it for my brother and me to be comfortable in the back during long road trips.

Good morning Kathy - all of that in the back of a flatbed truck.  A new form of tiny house.

Hello Kathy - each day provides a discovery (or two and sometimes more) when we are fortunate to notice what is happening around us.  And then they re-appear quite regularly because we have now seen them.  Of course, other things "vanish" never to be seen again.  Thankfully, you have photographic evidence.

I would like to see the inside as well.  I hope that is air and water tight too. Looks like someone has a creative gene and decided on DIY versus buying a camper shell.

Kat Palmiotti there can't be too much room in there but I love how there's what looks like a table that can fold down too.

Wayne Martin too small for me but it suits their needs.

Nina Hollander, Broker I keep looking when we go for our walks to see if it might be there!  I really want to see the issides.

Brian England what great memories. I'm looking for photos of an old VW bus that Larry had when I met him. He''d totally turned it into a camper and sewed the curtains as well.

Grant Schneider isn't that amazing!!!!!   I wonder how hot it gets with all that metal around.

Michael Jacobs it means we have to take in each moment we have. I really want to see the inside of that truck/camper.

Joan Cox maybe it's more of a teensy home.

Dorie Dillard Austin TX who would have thought there'd be solar panels on something so small.

Kathy I don't think I have seen anything like that, but I would definitely need a LITTLE more space than that.

I love it, Kathy.  I especially like the solar panel.  I've not seen that on a camper before.

Rick just installed solar panels on the roof of our RV. It is making a huge difference and allowing us much more freedom as where we camp. We have a couple of favorite places that don't provide electricity.
