Predictably Unpredictable

Predictably

Unpredictable. . .

One month has ended.  And today, another begins.   But this time, six months of 2022 are behind us with six more on the way.   We have previously been "here" - but this time is different. Each moment is unique in some ways. And like others from the past as well.

Perhaps Predictably.  And as this occurs, unpredictable is a word (in all its forms) that seems to be true simultaneously.  Even scouring through the definition of the word prediction will deliver multiple meanings.

The same seems to be true for me whenever I visit a favorite source of quotes.  The results can be overwhelming. The possibilities seem endless while looking for things similar or far, far off the subject.  Perhaps Preposterous.  Happy July.

Roy Kelley - you have that right.  Just like yesterday, today and tomorrow.  Rinse.  Repeat.

Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty - your comment gave me a bit of a Flashback Friday moment - I remember the days when cars didn't have seatbelts.  And the uproar, even as a child, about the mandatory compliance of them.  Oh, well.  The more things change - the more they remain the same.  But with a twist.

Leanne Smith - Happy Independence Day weekend to you as well.  I remember writing a post about a local farmers market arriving in a neighborhood.  I included a link to a story about the local psychic who was "surprised" at the lack of warning as it was impacting her business.  I found the incident rather funny but kinda sad in so ways too.  Although I searched my AR archived posts, I couldn't "place" it.   Oh, well...maybe I need some additional guidance.  But who should I ask?  I digress.  🙃

Good Sunday morning, Michael. I hope you are enjoying the weekend.

We had a stormy night for the fireworks display in Gaithersburg.

Other than death and taxes the only thing predictable about life is that it is unpredictable. And, I suppose that's what makes it interesting.

Roy Kelley - I "heard" similar.

Carol Williams - every moment each day provides opportunity for "interesting" to occur.

Michael Jacobs - I am of the opinion that life always has and always will be unpredictable and that economists are guessers. I digress...

But I would like to add, I think of the economist as someone from the old Carnival days who had their eye on your money while the sucker kept their eyes on the prize, such as a stuffed animal, trinket or trash. Predictions always seemed to favor the guys at the Carnival.

Hi Michael,

Happy July!   This has been a very busy year so far.  I blinked and half of it is over!  I would like to make a prediction that I am sure the second half will go by just as fast.

Hard to believe it is July already. But then again...it does just seem to be moving faster each year.

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - there may be some, maybe even a lot (of), truth to the saying "follow the money".  There seems to be a trail.  And it's not only rabbits hopping along that path.

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 - Happy Fourth on the Fifth.  There can always be reasons to celebrate.

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® - some things in life seem easy to forecast.  Time flying by may qualify.

Sharon Tara - exponential power, I think.

Michael Jacobs - I learned long ago to follow the money and boy, those $$$ trails are never wrong. I agree, it's "not only rabbits!" Many, many years ago I saw a movie called The Flim Flam man starring George C. Scott and Harry Morgan. It is a story I never forgot!

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - while I don't recall seeing that film, the name sounds quite familiar even if its premise may not be crystal clear.  That said, money is often a topic that ties together bundles that seem "loose".
