Jeffersonville Sweets
Jeffersonville Indiana is a cute little town right across the border from Louisville Kentucky. It has a small-time feel, great restaurants, bars, boutiques, and outdoor activities. There is a walking bridge that connects Jeffersonville and Louisville. It's a wonderful little community and offers many AirBNB options to travelers.
The downtown area has a very popular Cigar Lounge with an outdoor cafe, and a comfortable inside cozy area with leather couches and tables. Ready for whatever you desire. Down the street is my favorite store, Schimpffs Candy Store.
347 Spring Street Jeffersonville IN 812-283-8367 Since 1858: Its Candy Museum and Candy Demonstration Area offer a glimpse into the world of historic candy making, packaging, and advertising. Live candy-making demonstrations are frequently given. Tours are available and groups are asked to call in advance to schedule a FREE tour of the Candy Museum. {Schimpffs website}
I had so much fun in this store. Candy from my childhood. There were candy machines as well. Really super cool.
So what is your favorite candy? Chocolate, peanut, hard candy, jaw breaker, sugar sugar sugar...... This store has it all. We bought chocolate stars, nonpareils, peanut butter chocolate-covered emojis, and coconut-covered chocolate. It was a blast. If you have the opportunity to visit Jeffersonville Indiana, put Schimpffs on your list!
