So many choices! So little time! So many ways to spend points. I must confess; I am not exactly clear on what Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, Phoenix Broker, Carol Williams, and Kathy Streib want for the July challenge, but I must act quickly before my surgery this Wednesday. I am going to give it my best shot but if this doesn’t meet the criteria for the challenge, please let me know and I will edit it before July 6th.
Bonjour!
I decided I would like to purchase a trip to Paris for 40,000 points. I am inviting my daughter and son to join me on my adventure to a place I never went to, but they have. In the picture is my son and daughter meeting up in Paris a few years ago for their vacation. They have traveled the world! Also, they would be very helpful to me because I don't speak French and I would be terrible on my own finding directions. Meeting Chef Endre Barath, Jr. would be exciting! I confess, I am a picky eater but with Endre preparing a six-course feast, I am sure I will be able to eat something. As for wine, I do not whine! I am not fussy at all. I love both, red and white. My kids will eat anything, especially seafood! We will have fun meeting Endre and talking about food and our own personal adventures. Endre is bound to get in a lot of chuckles about stories my children will talk about me and the crazy things we did together, especially during our many trips to Maine and Boston and how ridiculous my kids thought I was to take pictures of them eating lobster & having my photo taken with lobster traps in Maine, instead of eating the lobsters in Maine or Boston Restaurants! We all know Endre has great stories and a great sense of humor too. It it will be a fun trip for all of us! As for me, well, I will be taking pictures and writing all about our adventure when I get back.
This is my first entry for the July 2022 ActiveRain Challenge.
Upper left corner is my son eating lobster while I was taking pictures of him enjoying his lobster dinner. Upper right is me sitting on a bench next to a lobster trap. That is the closest I would get to a lobster to have my photo taken. Bottom left: Anthony's Pier 4, excellent seafood restaurant in Boston. I did love the smell as soon as I walked inside! Bottom right: Memorial plaque in Boston about the brother of his Majesty, the King of France. I LOVE history! Plus, I would insist we spend the day visiting The Louvre! These are just a few of the topics my son, daughter, and I would enjoy with Endre. Yes! Yes! Yes! I would be willing to give up 40,000 ActiveRain Points for my trip to Paris!
Au Revoir!
Patricia
