Happy Independence Day July 4, 2022

Independence Day, also called Fourth of July, in the United States, the annual celebration of nationhood. It commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. 

It is now celebrated by cities all over the country with parades and when possible fantastic fireworks display.

We heard the fireworks from the neighboring town of Waterbury as they had it on a high elevation and the valley carried the sounds up to Prospect.

 

We will have a small gathering of family today with a little barbecue and laughs.

We hope you will also celebrate the day and enjoy the company you have.
