Whatcom County June 2022 Real Estate Recap

By
Real Estate Agent MLS#95406

INTENSITY ADJUSTMENT CONTINUES INTO SUMMER
The intensity adjustment continues in the Whatcom County real estate market as summer begins. Although lower than last year, local sales activity is strong. Local unsold inventory is building up to approach pre-pandemic levels.

There was a mini surge of new resale listings in June as we are returning back to a pre-pandemic real estate market. Everything is coming together for buyers in the market, with increased selection of available properties and fewer multiple-offer situations to navigate.

RETURN TO REAL LIFE – REAL ESTATE™
There are a variety of life events that can prompt the purchase or sale of a home. In today’s market, buyers and sellers could be navigating life events including: purchasing a home for the first time, getting a new job or a promotion, moving closer to family, retiring, or family changes. Whatever the reason for buying or selling, I can help you navigate the process.
