My Fun Purchase

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Ward County Notary Services

Every once in a while I purchase a bargain just for the fun of it. This one could have possibly sat on the self until the store got tired of it and thrown it away had I not pulled the $2.00 required to post its bail.

An ugly shade of blue, a stupid flower look, three colorless petals for fan blades, and it works off your computer or three AAA batteries. And what the heck is that copper strip on one of the petals? Who would want this thing?

Well, actually, I wanted a fan on my desk at work and no one would see how ugly it is. So I bought it… after all it was only $2.00 NEW in the box.

Now if I would have read the Box I would have known what the little copper strip was about. Somehow, unknown to me, that little copper strip attached to one of the three petals tells me LOL, OMG, BRB, TTYL.

Hi Bob- what a cute little gadget!!!  I can't think of anything you could buy these days for $2 that actually works. I'd say that's a pretty good bargain!!!

For $2, why not? Although I'd probably have passed. :-)

Leave it to you, Bob, to unearth a gadget like that and for just $2. As for me, I'd have never purchased it as I hate fans blowing at me (of any size).

Thanks Kathy Streib . $2.00 new in the box! Did you notice the post I was reading on the computer next to the fan?

We were stumped by one of the above Raymond E. Camp until we talked to Tina on the phone later. You mentioned BYB (which is not on there) and that reminded me that this summer we have had church meetings in peoples homes on Wednesday. In the announcements Pastor always says BYOB which can raise eyebrows BUT he means Bring Your Own Bible. 😄

I would have Kat Palmiotti but I did need a desk fan and it would be where no one would see it. The unusual way it delivers an electronic message makes it a fun bonus.

Glad you caught that Brian England . I figured I better have Active Rain up on the screen and what better face to put up there than Kathy Streib ? 😊

Not even a beer can do that for $2.00 Dorie Dillard Austin TX 😃 and the fan will last a lot longer.

For the most part I agree Nina Hollander, Broker but lately, with our heat wave, I can not wait to stand in front of the fan after being out in the upper 90 degree heat we are experiencing.

For 2 bucks you got a good buy Bob!  It would also look kind of fun in a car too!

Exactly Grant Schneider 😂. I needed it this morning when I got to the office and it was 78 degrees. I never know what my office neighbor is going to do with that thermostat.

You summarized it perfectly Brian England and that was why I was delighted when I plugged it in and it worked perfectly.

Absolutely Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, Phoenix Broker . Being it works on batteries or the same plug-in that a cell phone charger uses it would be perfect in the car or camper.
