Thankful Thursdays: I am so grateful for the friends I made here on Active Rain. I am always un-expectantly surprised by the thoughtful gifts Diane & I have received. Words can not express how grateful we are for the many kind gift we received over the years.
I have received cookbooks, motivational quotes on woodcarvings and the list goes on and on.
Needless to say, the other day I received a package, well it was measuring spoons. Not just ordinary kitchen measuring spoons but artwork that happened to be with cats and fish on them.
Diane and I had a discussion and even though I am the Chef and it is my kitchen, she still has a say so about things in the kitchen after all it is her house😩.
Clearly the compromise was, that I should not use them, since they are so beautiful and should be displayed next to the counter and the window.
Well I was fine with it. Now the next philosophical disagreement was which way the spoons should face. I am looking forward to finding out what your thoughts are in the comments below. Which way should the spoons face??
