Nerdin Gardens: A Wee, Busy Honey Bee

I see a wee, busy Honey bee,

Drifting toward a flowering tree.

While working at feeding the nest.

'Twas warily pressed to take a rest,

It strives to perform for the hive,

So the swarm may all remain alive.

~ Wanda Kubat-Nerdin in Nerdin Gardens

Even bees need to take an occasional break in order to gain momentum once again and perform. Very seldom, have I witnessed one completely still on a blooming plant until ready to fly, going about it's day.

We are so very thankful for the work ethic of the honey bees because it they shirked their responsibilities and duties like some humans, our garden would suffer greatly. They indeed are a gardeners true friend!

You are so welcome, Sham Reddy CRS, bee's are an important ecological part of ensuring the world gets fed! We can do our part to respect and take care of them.

That is a great capture of that bee hard at work!  I doubt that I would want to work as hard as they do, haha.

While in the garden I walked by and went into the house quickly to get my phone to take a picture. He just sat there while I snapped photos. I love the bees, Kathy Streib!

They only rest inside the hive in the winter, so must put their time to good use everyday up until then, Brian England. They are hard workers for sure!

Good Sunday morning, Wanda. The bees enjoy the flowers in our home garden.

Keep cool and have an outstanding week.

Thank you Nina Hollander, Broker. I spent some good time in the garden, weeding and picking vegetables. Bee's are fascinating little creatures!
