Barbara Todaro always came up with blogs that gives me suggestions all the time.  Not sure about newspaper anymore but direct mail still works.

This was a day to focus on print marketing and complement it with online marketing.  This full page newspaper ad will be in The Local Town Pages newspaper that is mailed to each residence and business in the town of Franklin.  We're in it every month and locals read it.  It's good exposure for the agents; the listings; and the offering of a Free Market Analysis.  

Print marketing is important because not everyone is online. There are homeowners who continue to read newspapers. There are people who do not use a computer for anything other than email, and I've sold homes in 55+ communities to many of them.  

They received postcards from me when I was targeting 55+ buyers for a subdivision that I was marketing.  That was a good lesson that was proof that not everyone surfed the net to find homes.

We get business from this marketing piece, and the exposure is well worth the cost.

Thanks for the reblog, Will Hamm newspapers work when THEY ARE LOCAL NEWSPAPERS AND READ BY FOLKS IN YOUR IMMEDIATE MARKETPLACE....then, it's a powerful marketing resource.... my newspaper marketing was in our local newspaper and I always used the theme of my postcard to complement marketing materials....
